Grief

"The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain." - Kahlil Gibran

When my Mom died in 2023, I grieved and processed my loss through painting.

Grief is a universal experience. There is both personal and collective grief. I have painted about both. Climate and political grief are in the water we presently breathe and drink. In these chaotic times fashioning a relationship with grief and sadness is important; equally important as cultivating joy. Dancing with all of it, is to be fully human.
